EGTA(UK) is delighted to welcome back the Greek virtuoso Antonis Hatzinikolaou for an evening recital on Tuesday 26th July. The concert forms part of the annual conference taking place at Queen Margaret’s School near York and will begin at 8pm in the Thompson Room.
Antonis is renowned for his superb tone, insightful interpretation and complete technical mastery. A graduate of the Royal Academy and recipient of the prestigious Julian Bream prize, he has toured extensively and has released four CDs to critical acclaim. In 2012 Antonis was appointed Professor of the classical guitar at The Philippos Nakas Conservatory in Athens. In 2008 he was awarded an Honorary Diploma by The Royal Academy – their highest performance award.
